Common questions
Do I need an eBay account?
Yes. Firesale creates listings on your own eBay seller account, so you connect it once in Settings → eBay. Your items, your payouts, your buyer relationships. If you do not have a seller account yet, create one at ebay.com (or ebay.de) first, then come back and connect it.
What does Firesale cost?
Nothing. There is no subscription and no charge for creating a listing. When an item sells, eBay charges its usual seller fees for your account and category. Those go to eBay, not to us.
A listing failed to publish. What now?
Open the item and read the reason under its status. eBay tells us exactly what it rejected, and it is usually a category rule, a missing shipping price, or a restriction on your seller account. Fix the field it names and publish again. If eBay removed a listing for a policy violation, Firesale will not republish it: delete the item and upload it again with the problem fixed, so the same violation is not repeated on your account.
Where does the shipping price come from?
It is estimated from the weight and dimensions read off your photos, then priced against carrier rates. You can change it on the review screen before you publish. For anything too large or too odd to price safely, Firesale asks you for the number instead of guessing.
Something sold. What do I have to do?
You get an email with a link straight to the label purchase page. Buy the postage, print or scan the code, and drop the parcel off. That is the only step Firesale cannot do for you.
Can I use Firesale in German?
Yes. The app follows your device language and the country of your connected eBay account, and you can override it any time in Settings → Language. A German eBay account lists on ebay.de in euros with DHL shipping; everywhere else lists on ebay.com in US dollars.
Deleting your account
Open Settings and choose Delete account. It removes your Firesale account, your photos, your drafts and your stored eBay connection. Listings that are already live on eBay stay on eBay. They belong to your eBay account, and you end them there. If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address you signed up with and we will do it for you.
